How to find us

From Shanklin

Take the coastal road to Ventnor. The road will pass Luccombe below the road on the left. Pass Smugglers Haven carpark on the left. Follow the road down the hill. Just as the road levels off turn left down Bonchurch Shute. If you pass the Leconfield Hotel you have gone too far.

Follow the Shute down the hill past the Bonchurch Inn and then the Church. Take hairpin left immediately at the bottom of the Shute. This is the entrance to East Dene. Go through the two gate posts opposite. Do not go down the hill. Follow the lane past East Dene and up the hill. Go past the house with the red windows on the left. The track now drops down towards the sea. You will now see Carmel straight ahead. There is parking to the left of the house.

From Ventnor

Follow signs to Bonchurch to the east of Ventnor. Pass the Pond on you left. About 1/4 of a mile on before you veer left up the shute, turn right into East Dene. Go through the two gate posts opposite. Do not go down the hill. Follow the lane past East Dene and up the hill. Go past the house with the red windows on the left. The track now drops down towards the sea. You will now see Carmel straight ahead. There is parking to the left of the house.
