Carmel is set on the Coastal footpath which circumnavigates the island. Check out isleofwightwalkingfestival.co.uk.

Cycling
Whether on or off road, the island is a great location for cyclists of all ages and abilities. The cycle track running from Sandown to Cowes has proved highly popular since its opening in 2004. There is also an extensive network
of quiet lanes and way marked bridleways giving cyclists access to all 4 corners of the island. Check out cyclewight.org.uk for suggested routes and upcoming events.
